Welcome to the new website maintained by the Friends of the Burke-Gilman Trail at Sand Point! The old website unfortunately went off into scammer land so it was decided to develop it anew on an easier to use platform. The site is also being expanded to recognize the work not only of the active members of the Friends but also the many others, Forest Stewards and volunteers, working along the B-G trail as well as in adjacent areas such as Magnuson Park and the Yesler Headwaters.
The site is definitely a work in progress so please provide any and all input as to things that are not (or are!) working well. We're trying to move much of the old content over to the site, but also aiming to update and expand the content and overall design.
Hopefully it will prove to informative and interesting. With an easier to use platform it's expected that the site will be updated regularly and used as the groups primary means of communicating with all of the supporters of the Friends and others working hard to restore Seattle's urban forests and habitat.
